Axonal commenced by establishing a partnership with MMG's Dugald River Mine a large zinc and lead mine North of Cloncurry. ​Axonal assisted in setting up the Emergency Clinic and subsequently began to manage the medical needs of the workforce which consist of 600 employees. Since 2010, Axonal provides expert emergency care to the site 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Following on from the success of Dugald River, Axonal was approached by South 32 to provide medical care to its flagship site Cannington mine in north-west Queensland.

We provide medical care and are involved in onsite training to provide education on subjects such as lead poisoning. Axonal commenced providing services in 2016 to 1700 employees.

The old Gunpowder Mine was reopened in 2010 and has a workforce of 300 employees.

Axonal began providing Emergency care 24 hours a day - seven days a week to the site from 2017.

Ernest Henry is a large scale copper-gold operation located 38km east of Cloncurry. We have looked after the workers at EHM since 2019.
